Enable Law’s Laurence Vick, who represented the families at the Kennedy Inquiry into the events leading to the Bristol child heart surgery scandal of the 1990s, has taken a special interest in the plight of whistleblowers and the difficulties they face when trying to ensure their warning is heard.
Laurence recently spoke to Public Sector Focus magazine expressing concern over the expense borne by the taxpayer of pursuing whistleblowers and ultimately the potential financial cost of ignoring whistleblowers and the concerns they have raised.
