The Mental Capacity team at Enable Law has been shortlisted for Vulnerable Client Advisory Practice of the Year in the 2017/18 STEP Private Client Awards.
Open globally to both STEP members and non-members, these prestigious Awards recognise and celebrate excellence among private client solicitors, lawyers, accountants, barristers, bankers, trust managers and financial advisors.
There were a record number of entries from 24 countries across the globe. Shortlisted alongside Enable Law include Withers, Hugh Jones Solicitors and Renaissance Legal.
The Vulnerable Client Advisory Practice of the Year award recognises a legal or accountancy practitioner or team that specialises in navigating the complex issues that confront vulnerable clients and their families. The team has previously been shortlisted for their work in handling complex cases in this area of law and has earned a nationally recognised offering known for our high profile clients and innovative and open minded approach to client management. As a result of our national committee memberships, the mental capacity team is at the forefront of national legal and policy developments in mental capacity law. This has been underlined by Patricia Wass’ recent election as Chair of the STEP Worldwide Board.
Enable Law, which also includes medical negligence, personal injury and mental capacity services, is made up over 80 specialists, including five partners and six legal directors. The team are recognised nationally as leaders in this field.
