WE PURSUED A CLAIM FOR JOHN, ON BEHALF OF HIS WIDOW AND RECOVERED COMPENSATION FOR HER.
John was on holiday walking two dogs on a lead along a public footpath which crossed a field of cows. The cows had calves at foot and when they came over, John immediately released the dogs from the lead and the dogs ran away. However, the cows continued to have interest in him rather than the dogs and they knocked him down. He was able to get up but he was knocked down again. He curled up into a ball but the cows continued to attack him and trample on him. He was killed at the scene.
We pursued a claim for John’s widow and recovered compensation for her.
