I joined the medical negligence team in August 2018 as a paralegal studying my Graduate Diploma in Law. I then went on to do my CILEx qualifications, and qualified as a lawyer in June 2023.

I have a particular specialism in stillbirth and neonatal death claims, with these cases representing over 50% of my case load. I do, however, continue working on a variety of cases including orthopaedic, ophthalmic, brain injury, nerve injury, fatal claims and others.

Career Highlights

I was heavily involved in a birth injury claim which settled for approximately £17 million
I successfully settled a neonatal death claim for £70,000.
I successfully obtained early admissions from a hospital Trust in a stillbirth claim avoiding the need for extensive investigations
