I am a senior Court of Protection practitioner specialising in the management of high value financial settlements and complex applications to the Court of Protection. The majority of my clients have suffered a catastrophic event in their lives and have sustained a brain injury. I act for clients from the very young to those later in life.

I act as ‘Property and Affairs’ Deputy for in excess of 200 clients as a Director of Foot Anstey Trust Corporation, managing funds of circa £300m+. I also act as professional Trustee for Personal Injury Trust clients.

I co-manage a growing team of expert Court of Protection practitioners at Enable Law with offices across the south of the UK, supporting clients nationwide.

We have been ranked as a Tier One practice by Chambers (2024). We have also been ranked Tier Two by Legal 500 (2024) who named me a ‘Key Lawyer’ in the team.

Career Highlights

Managing a large number of complex multi-million-pound settlements for professional Deputies and Trustees.
Working with others to establish a ‘south-central’ branch of the Court of Protection Practitioner’s Association (CoPPA) / being appointed Chair.
Successfully resolving a contentious (and potentially life changing) cross-jurisdictional capacity matter for a client.
Defending the wishes of ‘P’ who (although lacking testamentary capacity) wished to prevent an abusive birth family benefiting from their estate.
Securing the support of the Official Solicitor for a Statutory Will for ‘P’ including discretionary trust provisions which were appropriate due to the complexities of their family’s circumstances.
