A recent inquiry into the horrific crimes committed by David Fuller, who sexually abused dozens of bodies in the morgue of Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, has concluded that similar offenses “could happen again.” The inquiry into Fuller’s actions, who worked as a hospital maintenance man and abused the bodies of at least 101 women and girls before his arrest in December 2020, highlighted significant vulnerabilities within mortuary settings.
The findings underscore the urgent need for enhanced security measures and oversight to prevent such depraved acts from being repeated.
