I am a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Mental Capacity Team, specialising in providing legal advice and support to some of the most vulnerable individuals, their families and carers. Having qualified as a general private client solicitor in 2006, my work is now focused on matters involving capacity, decision-making and financial management.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to helping individuals plan for the future and manage complex legal issues surrounding capacity and care. I have also dedicated time to community and charitable initiatives, including my work as a Dementia Friends Ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society, during which I helped to create over 350 Dementia Friends. Through this work, I have delivered talks and information sessions highlighting the importance of planning ahead and the potential challenges when such planning is overlooked.
