National law firm, Enable Law, has completed the acquisition of the Bristol-based claimant personal injury and clinical negligence practice team from The Ince Group.
Enable Law, which is part of the Foot Anstey Group, has a well-established specialist medical negligence, personal injury and mental capacity offering. The team of 15 from Ince joined the firm in April 2023 and will all be based in the firm’s Bristol office. The addition of the acquired practice team is in line with the firm’s ongoing growth plans and bolsters its strong practice areas.
Within the cohort of 11 lawyers joining Enable Law from The Ince Group are industry heavyweights Gillian Clark (Partner) and Kay McCluskey (Consultant).
The acquired practice is part of The Ince Group’s 450+ legal and business service professionals and the acquisition is part of Ince’s recent strategy to divest non-core businesses and focus its insurance practice on corporate insurance clients.
When asked about the acquisition, Rob Antrobus, Partner, said: “We are thrilled to announce the completion of this transaction and welcome The Ince Group practice to Enable Law. The team has a strong history of delivering great client service and fantastic results for clients. This acquisition is incredibly exciting for us at Enable Law as it is a strong strategic fit for our business and bolsters our growth plans for 2023 and beyond.”
