Enable Law has further strengthened its mental capacity team with the appointment of Court of Protection specialist Mea North as partner.
Mea joins Enable Law’s fast-growing 40-plus team of mental capacity legal experts who support vulnerable people and their families with long-term care and financial needs.
Mea has moved to Enable Law from Thomson Snell & Passmore and will work alongside partner Annabelle Vaughan, head of Enable Law’s mental capacity team, to support the continued growth of the Court of Protection team.
As a professional deputy, Mea will support clients with complex financial and welfare decisions where they are unable to make those decisions themselves.
Commenting on her appointment, Mea, who will be based at Enable Law’s Southampton office, said: “I’m delighted to be joining Enable Law and its outstanding specialist legal professionals.

Mea has joined Enable Law’s mental capacity team at a time when the firm is driving forward its specialist services, including medical negligence, personal injury and education support.

The Enable Law mental capacity team has gained many new clients in the last year, many referred by case management companies and other solicitors, recognising the expertise and client care the firm offers as standard.
