I am a Paralegal on the Abuse team here at Enable Law.
I assist specialist lawyers with damages claims in connection with the Human Rights Act 1998 and the European Convention on Human Rights. These claims typically include acting for individuals who have been exposed to abuse through the failures of local authorities, organisations, and clinical professionals.
In addition, I support on complex claims to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) in relation to sexual abuse or assault.
I also assist with Data Breach claims whereby adoptive families have been affected by a leak of their personal information. We frequently assist these families with relocation to support their safety.
I am dedicated to helping individuals going through difficult times in their lives and finding a solution. Whilst I understand that the past cannot be changed, I understand the importance of feeling heard and recognised for the hardships that our clients have been through. We are actively dedicated to changing the future for our clients and seeking solutions to the failures by the organisations and individuals that we feel we should trust.
In the future I hope to qualify as a Solicitor in this area of work and I am currently studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Exams.
