I started in the Mental Capacity team at Enable Law in September 2018 as a Paralegal Apprentice, I have since progressed and I am now a Court of Protection Executive.
My role within the team involves supporting clients who lack the capacity to make decisions about their property and financial affairs. This includes assisting with Deputyship applications, Statutory Wills, Personal Injury Trusts and best interest decisions which can sometimes be in complex or sensitive circumstances. My work also involves purchasing properties for clients to have their forever homes and providing support throughout the adaptations to make sure it’s suitable for their needs.
I work closely with clients and their families to build strong, trusting relationships, and find it incredibly rewarding to make a positive difference in their lives.
I have qualified as a CILEX Paralegal and I am continuing my CILEX studies.
I’m a member of the Plymouth Junior Lawyers Division.
Outside of work, I am usually swimming in the sea or by the beach, running and reading.
