I’ve been a Personal Injury lawyer since 1990 and have dealt with a huge variety of different types of claims including RTA, Occupiers/public liability, abuse claims, accidents at work, industrial disease (asbestos related injury and noise induced hearing loss).
I have dealt with a number of catastrophic brain injury claims ranging from young children to elderly clients. I often deal with claims where liability is disputed and recently had a case go to the Court of Appeal where we successfully resisted the Defendant’s application to appeal against the successful outcome at trial.
I have a special interest in claims involving animals, and have dealt with claims including horses, dogs and cows.
In my spare time I am Chair of Trustees for charity Smile 4 Wessex based at Wessex Neurological Unit at Southampton General Hospital.

" ‘Julia Prior exemplifies the calm and competent manner of this firm. She is very good at handling clients in a way that helps them understand what is going on and what they need to do, which in turn helps them maximize their claims.’ - Legal 500 "
" 'Julia was empathetic from the start, working sensitively with me when I was still in a traumatised state, and demonstrated a depth of experience with injury, knowing how to alert me to details I was likely to forget or fail to attend which would be useful for my case. She was very easy to work with, conveying the legalese in a transparent way, and attending promptly to questions. It was a pleasure to have her look after me.’ - Mrs Y "
