I have over 20 years’ experience of advising clients on all areas of personal injury law.  My expertise is public liability, and I have particular experience in dealing with E-scooters, product liability, animal injuries, accidents abroad, accidents at sea, accidents in the air, occupier’s liability and trip & slip cases.

Career highlights

  • Achieved a settlement of £92,500 for a client who was seriously injured when the branch of a tree on private land became detached and fell onto the roof of his soft top sports car during a storm, as he drove along a main public highway. The legal issues were complex and liability was denied throughout by the owners of the land on which the tree the branch came from was located. This required updating very specialised expert evidence to consider the issues surrounding liability of a private land owner with trees adjacent to the public highway.
  • Achieved a settlement of £40,000 for a child attacked by his neighbours dog, leaving him with scarring and PTSD.
  • Achieved a settlement of £35,000 for an older female client (70 years old at the time), alleged to have suffered a particular form of stroke as a result of having her hair washed in a rear reclining basin in the defendant hair salon, a phenomenon often known as “Beauty Parlour Syndrome” which describes an array of symptoms caused by the disruption of the posterior circulation of the brain on account of the manipulation and/or positioning of the neck.
