“I chose to build my career in clinical negligence because I am dedicated to making life easier for people who have been injured due to medical mistake”

I am a Managing Associate, having joined the Foot Anstey Group as a trainee in 2012 and spent a year of my training contract in the Clinical Negligence team. I qualified into the team in 2014.

Since that time I have built experience in cases involving sepsis, brain injury, fatal accidents, surgical error, psychiatric injuries, failures to diagnose/ delays in diagnosis and various other issues.

I am passionate about acting for injured individuals and their families in pursuing justice and obtaining a financial settlement that will meet their needs, to ensure they have not only excellent legal representation but also a supportive solicitor who understands the challenges they are facing.

Career Highlights

  • Achieving a settlement of £250,00 for a client who suffered a rare endocrine disorder
  • Assisting in a case involving the death of a husband and father of three from an undiagnosed aortic aneurysm. The settlement ensured the man’s family were provided for after his death
  • Obtaining a settlement to allow a woman who suffered total blindness following undiagnosed glaucoma to live in appropriate accommodation and receive the care and assistance she needed to live as full a life as possible.
  • Supporting bereaved parents through a claim and inquest involving the incredibly traumatic mismanaged delivery of their baby, including psychiatric claims for both parents.
  • Obtaining a settlement for the widow of a man who suffered a serious brain injury when his diabetes was mismanaged in hospital, to ensure she was provided for in her old age in the absence of her husband’s earnings and pension.
