I am an Associate in the medical negligence team. I joined Enable Law in August 2018 as a paralegal studying my Graduate Diploma in Law. I then went on to do my CILEx qualifications, and qualified as a lawyer in June 2023, and obtaining my civil litigation practice rights in February 2025.
I have a particular specialism in stillbirth and neonatal death claims, with these cases representing over 50% of my case load. I do, however, continue working on a variety of cases including orthopaedic, ophthalmic, brain injury, nerve injury, fatal claims and others.
I am passionate about building a rapport with my clients, and ensuring that they know they can contact me whenever they need to, even just to have a chat on the phone if they’re having a difficult day. The highlights of my career so far include obtaining early admissions from Trusts for many families who have experienced baby loss, which reduced the length of the litigation and the distress of arguing about what went wrong.
I was Highly Commended in the Chartered Legal Executive of the Year category in the Devon and Somerset Law Society awards in June 2024.
Outside of work, I’m a keen crafter and you will often find me knitting jumpers for my friends and family.
