Paul and his wife booked a package holiday to one of the Greek islands. One of the excursions offered was an evening of local food and entertainment at a traditional outdoor event space.
Once the sun set, the lighting was poor and as Paul went to join his wife on the dancefloor he tripped and fell sustaining injury. He received treatment locally for his injuries and was unable to enjoy the remainder of his holiday.
On his return home, Paul was unable to work whilst he recovered from his injuries and suffered a loss of earnings. He had to attend a number of medical appointments and required assistance from his wife around the house.
We were able to negotiate compensation for Paul with the tour operator. We achieved damages in respect of the injury he sustained together with the additional financial losses incurred including loss of earnings.
