Law firm Enable Law has welcomed education specialist Sarah Palmer as a Partner in their Southampton office.
The firm specialises in personal injury, medical negligence, mental capacity, and supporting families and individuals with complex claims following catastrophic and life changing injuries. The appointment of Sarah and her team, including Shannen Raynor-Dewis, and Anna McLoughlin means the firm can now provide support to families and children who have special educational needs – whether because of accident or injury or as a result of other conditions such as autism.
Sarah and her team have extensive experience working on education cases across a huge range of special educational needs and disabilities. They have a strong track record and a good reputation in the field including close relationships with experts such as educational psychologists, other therapists and independent special schools. The team play a crucial role in assisting families with children with significant disabilities, to secure the appropriate and specialised educational provision.
Alison McClure, lead Partner at Enable Law Southampton, said: “Getting the right education is paramount. We are passionate about ensuring our clients get access to the right education, regardless of their needs. By bringing Sarah and her team in-house it means we can offer a seamless approach to all our clients as they rebuild their lives and look ahead to the future.”
When asked about her appointment, Sarah said: “This is an exciting new chapter for me and my team. We’re looking forward to joining Enable Law who have been growing their reputation in this area year on year. My mission remains the same, to listen to my clients concerns and offer practical ways to resolve issues. With the support of Alison and the rest of Enable Law the service we can offer clients will be better than ever.”
Sarah’s appointment is the third Partner hire Enable Law has made in 2023. Mental capacity specialist Annabelle Vaughan joined the partnership in early September 2023 and medical negligence specialist Gillian Clark joined in April 2023.
