Prior to joining the legal sector, I had 18 years’ experience as registered nurse in both the NHS and the Royal Navy. I worked in many areas during my career including primary care and day surgery. Later I specialised in operating theatre nursing, working predominantly in orthopaedics and reconstructive plastic surgery.

I use my nursing experience to advise on cases. I interpret and assess the medical records that are vital to a successful clinical negligence claim. I also liaise with clients and medical experts and draft legal letters.
