“My aim is to make a positive difference for all of my clients; I am dedicated to providing access to support and guidance, whilst achieving the highest compensation award possible, and to making sure their journey through the legal process is as seamless as it can be. “

I have over 30 years’ experience working in law. My background in medical negligence claims is diverse and includes claims involving delay in diagnosis and mismanagement of cancer, negligent spinal surgery, missed glaucoma, prescription errors and new born bowel injury.

I am a founding member and the administrator for the Brain Injury Café, a social support group for those with acquired or congenital brain injury. The group provides an opportunity to meet and socialise with those facing similar hurdles day to day, and a chance to relax, let off steam and learn from the experiences of others.

Career Highlights

  • Negotiating settlement including apology in a complex case involving a delay in diagnosis and treatment of a child’s brain tumour
  • Achieving high value damages award against a Hospital Trust for delay in diagnosis of prostate cancer
  • Successfully representing a claimant in an evidentially challenging claim involving failure to diagnose a detached retina leading to significant loss of vision
