Event: Mind Over Matter – Helping a Brain Injured Person Through Life’s Challenges

Two people holding hands over a railway lineLife is challenging at the best of times. For a person with a brain injury, it can be difficult to identify whether inaccurate decision making is down to the injury itself, their mind-set or a mixture of both. This can lead to some complex situations.

We want to look at the way society’s preconceptions about the brain injured impact the vulnerable in gaining access to help and services, and so we will be holding “Mind Over Matter” seminars on 12 March in our Bristol office and 14 March in our Plymouth office.

The seminars are aimed at professionals who work with the brain-injured, and are free to attend. Both will feature a selection of speakers with medical, social, legal and personal knowledge who will be sharing their experiences of working and living with people with brain injuries.
