I was awarded Honorary Membership of the AvMA Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel on 9th April 2025 in recognition of my work on behalf of injured patients and their families and the longstanding and continuing contribution in the fields of clinical negligence and patient safety.
I have extensive experience of advising clients on birth injuries and brain injury claims, stillbirths and neonatal deaths. I have been recognised as a Leader in my field in both the Legal 500 and Chambers UK directories since 2009 and am now a Senior Statesperson.
I specialise in birth injury claims which cause a brain injury in the child or result in stillbirth or neonatal death. I represent parents and injured children in their claims against NHS Trusts and GPs. I am an honorary member of Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society).
I commenced my career representing families at the Bristol Royal Infirmary Public Inquiry into paediatric cardiac surgery and therefore also have an interest and expertise in paediatric cardiac surgery cases.
