I am an Associate in the Clinical Negligence team based in Southampton, specialising in complex and high-value medical negligence claims. My areas of expertise include orthopaedic injuries, limb amputations, inquests, and cases involving suicide and mental health care failures.
I am deeply committed to securing justice for individuals and families affected by clinical negligence. Whether supporting a bereaved family through the inquest process or helping a client adjust to life after a serious injury, my focus is always on achieving a strong, fair outcome and helping them move forward with confidence. I have attended and supported clients through numerous inquests, often involving highly sensitive and complex circumstances.
Having worked in the field of personal injury since 2007, I bring a wealth of experience to my role. I have acted on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants, and since 2013, I have worked exclusively for Claimants. My insight into Defendant strategies allows me to take a proactive and strategic approach to case resolution, helping to secure the best possible settlements for my clients.
I manage a diverse caseload of medical negligence claims on behalf of both adults and children, including cases involving birth injuries, amputations, orthopaedic trauma, fatalities, and mental health-related deaths. I am an active member of Enable Law’s specialist amputee support group and work closely with our Abuse compensation team, particularly in matters involving mental health failings.
Outside of my legal practice, I am a Trustee of a Portsmouth-based charity that supports children and young adults with disabilities — a role that reflects my commitment to advocacy and community support beyond the courtroom.
